MOU reached between CARS and TTCI

A TTCI delegation headed by the President Doctor Lisa Stabler and Vise President Firdausi D. Irani visited CARS in June 28 and 29 and a MOU was achieved between the two organizations.

The TTCI delegation visited the National Railway Track Test Center, State Kay Laboratory for Track Technology of High Speed Railway, National Research Center of Railway Intelligence Transport System Engineering Technology, National Key Laboratory of EMU & Locomotive Traction and Control, etc. The comprehensive strength of CARS in various disciplines, cutting-edge technical equipment, leading testing technologies and advanced management concept has left the delegation a deep impression.

In the afternoon of June 29, Mr. Kang Xiong, the Executive Vice President of CARS and major executives from the Locomotive & Car Research Institute, Railway Engineering Research Institute, National Railway Track Test Center, the administration office of CARS, the Scientific Research Division, Human Resources & Labor Cost Department met with TTCI delegation and exchanged ideas for further cooperation between the two parties. A MOU was achieved between the two, by which CARS and TTCI will make their technical advantages complementary to each other, further enhance the exchanges on railway technologies and promote cooperation in mutual visit and sharing of laboratory resources so as to provide technical support for railway development in both the two countries.
