The International Union of Railways and American Public Transportation Association (APTA) will jointly host the 8^th World Congress on High Speed Rail along with an exhibition of high speed rail technologies from July 11^th through July 13^th in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Chinese booths at the exhibition occupy an area of 278 sqm, with 6 exhibitors: The 3rd Railway Survey & Design Institute Group Corporation, CARS, China Railway Group Limited, China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, CSR (China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock Corporation Limited) and China CNR Corporation Limited. According to the arrangement by the Ministry of Railway, CARS is appointed as the organization for spearheading and executing the exhibition for the Chinese side.

Our engagements are headed by the Scientific Research Division which has worked out the exhibition scheme for CARS, according to which respective units of CARS shall devote their preparatory efforts.
